Role Summary The Technical Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and successfully delivering customer projects within agreed timelines, scope, and quality standards. This role serves as the primary point of coordination between customers, engineering, product, QA, and leadership teams to ensure smooth project execution, proactive risk management, timely escalations, and successful customer sign-offs.
The TPM owns project governance, delivery planning, stakeholder communication, and overall project health from discovery through go-live.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Discovery
Conduct customer discovery sessions to understand business and technical requirements. Create and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, timelines, and resource allocations.
Define project scope, deliverables, assumptions, and dependencies.
Ensure project documentation is complete before execution.
1. Delivery Management
Own end-to-end project delivery. Monitor project progress against timelines.
Ensure milestones are achieved as committed.
Coordinate across Engineering, Product, QA, Customer Success, and other stakeholders.
Maintain project governance throughout the lifecycle.
1. Risk & Dependency Management
Maintain the RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) Log. Identify potential delivery risks early.
Drive mitigation plans.
Escalate blockers promptly to leadership.
Track action items until closure.
1. Client Communication
Act as the primary delivery contact for customers. Conduct regular project status meetings.
Provide timely updates on progress, risks, and timelines.
Manage customer expectations proactively.
Obtain milestone approvals and final sign-offs.
1. Project Governance
Maintain project management tools with accurate and up-to-date information. Ensure documentation is current and accessible.
Track project health, action items, and deliverables.
Ensure compliance with internal delivery processes.
1. Go-Live Management
Coordinate pre-production readiness. Validate Go-Live Checklist completion.
Ensure all approvals are secured before deployment.
Coordinate post-go-live support and project closure.

5+ years of Technical Project Management experience.

PMP, PRINCE2, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or Agile certification preferred.
