Position: Tech Lead

Experience: 57 Years

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead to drive technical direction, architecture, and engineering execution while mentoring a team of engineers. The role requires a balance of hands-on development, technical leadership, architecture decisions, code quality, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead technical design and execution for assigned product/team areas.

- Own architecture decisions and drive implementation through to production.

- Lead and mentor a team of 3–8 engineers.

- Drive engineering best practices across code quality, testing, CI/CD, and deployment.

- Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

- Partner with product and design teams to shape product roadmap and technical strategy.

- Act as the escalation point for complex technical challenges and decisions.

- Ensure high-quality software delivery through unit testing, E2E testing, performance testing, and load testing.

- Contribute hands-on to full-stack development and technical problem-solving.

- Promote AI-assisted coding, debugging, code review, and spec-driven engineering practices.

- Mentor engineers and continuously improve team practices and engineering processes.

- Evaluate business priorities, customer impact, and technical trade-offs while making technology decisions.

Required Skills & Experience





- 5–7 years of software engineering experience with proven end-to-end ownership of significant systems.

- 2+ years of experience in a Tech Lead / Engineering Manager role.

- Strong full-stack development experience.

- Strong expertise in Node.js / Java / Python for backend development.

- Strong experience with React / Angular for frontend development.

- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL / MySQL databases.

- Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture.

- Experience with AWS / GCP / Azure cloud platforms.

- Strong fundamentals in Data Structures, Algorithms, and System Design.

- Experience with architecture design and implementation of scalable systems.

- Strong understanding of Unit Testing, E2E Testing, Performance Testing, and Load Testing.

- Experience with CI/CD, code quality, and engineering best practices.

- Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical teams.

- Solid communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work closely with Product, Design, and Business teams.

- Strong business acumen with an understanding of customer impact and business trade-offs.

- Experience with AI-assisted coding, debugging, and spec-driven engineering.

Education

- B.Tech/B.E. or M.Tech in Computer Science or a related field.

- Graduates from BITS Pilani, IITs, IIITs, or NITs are strongly preferred.
