The Opportunity In this role, you will be responsible for leading an enterprise IT team of and ensure high availability, scalability, and robust security across complex LAN, WAN, Data Center, Wireless, SD-WAN, and Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) environments. The Director will drive network modernization, support digital transformation initiatives, oversee multi-OEM environments, and align technical strategy with core business objectives, offshore delivery centers (ODCs), and enterprise customer requirements.

The Responsibilities

- Formulate and implement the long-term strategic roadmap for global network operations, aligning network architecture with business goals.

- Drive infrastructure transformation initiatives, modernizing legacy systems to support hybrid cloud, SD-WAN, and automated NaaS frameworks.

- Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership, providing regular updates on network performance, risks, capital projects, and operational metrics.

- Oversee the end-to-end design, deployment, optimization, and maintenance of enterprise network infrastructure (Routing & Switching, LAN/WAN, Data Centers, Wireless, Load Balancing, and VPNs).

- Establish and monitor stringent Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to guarantee network reliability, performance, and proactive issue mitigation.

- Enforce robust Incident, Problem,



and Change Management frameworks to ensure rapid SLA resolution and minimal business disruption.

- Direct and support ongoing, large-scale network deployment and upgrade projects.

- Lead, mentor, and scale an enterprise network operations organization of ~50 engineers and managers across internal IT and GCC (Global Capability Center) / ODC environments.

- Cultivate a high-performance, cooperative engineering culture through clear goal-setting, continuous training, performance reviews, and succession planning.

- Develop and manage the global network operational (OpEx) and capital (CapEx) budgets, driving resource efficiency and strategic cost optimization.

- Oversee vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and SLA performance across multiple network OEMs, equipment providers, and telecom carriers.

- Manage enterprise customer expectations and customer-facing networks, particularly within Service-Based, ODC, or multi-tenant customer environments.

- Partner closely with Information Security leadership to define and enforce network security policies, zero-trust protocols, firewalls, and threat mitigation technologies.

- Ensure all network architecture and operational practices strictly adhere to regulatory requirements, data protection laws, and IT governance standards.

The Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

- 15 years of hands-on experience in managing enterprise-level network operations, engineering design, implementation, and troubleshooting.





- Proven track record in executive-level people management, leading teams of 30–50 network engineers and IT managers.

- Demonstrated expertise in managing multi-OEM vendor environments and service-based/GCC/ODC network ecosystems.

- Deep knowledge of modern networking concepts including LAN/WAN architecture, BGP/OSPF routing, switching, perimeter firewalls, load balancers, SD-WAN, Wireless enterprise, Network-as-a-Service (NaaS), and network monitoring/telemetry tools.

- Strong command of business IT processes, ITIL frameworks, vendor SLA oversight, and CapEx/OpEx budgeting.

- CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISM, or ITIL Foundation/Intermediate.

- Experience within Global Capability Centers (GCCs), Large IT Service-Based Organizations, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), or Enterprise Internal IT operating complex offshore delivery network architectures.
