Job Summary An Integration Architect designs, builds, and governs enterprise-wide data and system connection solutions. They map business needs to technical architectures, define API and event-driven standards, select middleware or iPaaS tools (like MuleSoft or Kafka), and guide engineering teams to ensure scalable, secure system interoperability.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design: Create end-to-end integration blueprints, API contracts, data transformations, and message-routing topologies.
Standardization: Define and enforce enterprise integration principles, patterns (REST, SOAP, Event-Driven), and governance frameworks
Security & Compliance: Implement secure connectivity rules (OAuth2, mTLS, token management) and data protection standards.
Collaboration & Leadership: Bridge communication between business stakeholders and technical execution teams while mentoring developers.
Technology Evaluation: Assess and prototype up-to-date integration tools, including API gateways, enterprise service buses,
and cloud message brokers.
Skill Requirements
Experience: 8-12 years in software development with 4 years focused on enterprise, solution, or integration architecture.
Core Technical Knowledge: Deep proficiency in API management, microservices, enterprise integration patterns, and cloud/hybrid infrastructures.
Platform Familiarity: Hands-on experience with tools like MuleSoft, Kafka, Azure/AWS integration services, enterprise platforms like SAP or EHS products like Intelex, Enhesa.
Security Protocols: Strong command of authentication and authorization frameworks such as OAuth, SAML, and JWT.
