We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead / Technical Product Lead who can take ownership of the technical direction and day-to-day execution of multiple software products. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across product management, software architecture, development, DevOps, QA, and engineering teams. This is not a pure coding role.

The person will act as the technical owner for products and ensure that ideas and requirements are converted into scalable, maintainable, and production-ready software. The candidate will work closely with the founders/product stakeholders to understand business requirements, define technical solutions, manage engineering teams, track product development, and ensure timely releases.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1.

Product Technical Ownership: Take end-to-end technical ownership of assigned products; understand product requirements, business objectives, and customer needs; convert business requirements into technical requirements and implementation plans; participate in product roadmap planning and prioritisation; identify technical risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks; evaluate new technologies and determine where they provide business value; maintain technical documentation and product architecture.

- Architecture &
- System Design: Design scalable and maintainable application architectures; review existing product architecture and identify areas for improvement; define APIs, database structures, integrations, services, and system components; make technology and architecture decisions; conduct design and code reviews; ensure security, performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability; plan technical debt reduction and refactoring. 3.

Engineering Team Management:



Lead and mentor developers and engineers; assign technical tasks and track engineering progress; review estimates and development plans; conduct regular technical discussions with the development team; remove technical blockers; ensure engineering standards and best practices are followed; coordinate Backend, Frontend, Mobile, AI, DevOps and QA teams where applicable; help evaluate and hire technical resources. 4.

Product Development Management: Break product requirements into epics, features, user stories, and technical tasks; work with Product/Business teams to clarify requirements; participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives; monitor development progress against the product roadmap; identify delays and proactively take corrective actions; coordinate feature releases and production deployments; ensure that completed features meet acceptance criteria.

- Code Quality &
- Engineering Standards: Establish and enforce coding standards; conduct pull-request and code reviews; ensure proper Git workflows are followed; promote automated testing and CI/CD practices; ensure proper logging, monitoring, error handling, and observability; identify recurring production issues and drive permanent fixes.
- DevOps &
- Infrastructure:



Work with DevOps engineers on CI/CD pipelines and deployment architecture; understand cloud infrastructure and production environments; monitor application performance and infrastructure requirements; help optimise cloud infrastructure and operational costs; ensure appropriate backup, security, monitoring, and disaster-recovery practices.
- Third-Party Integrations: Evaluate and manage technical integrations with external APIs and platforms; review API documentation and integration architecture; coordinate with vendors and external technical teams; troubleshoot integration and production issues. 8.

AI / SaaS / Modern Technology: Evaluate the use of AI/LLMs, automation, APIs, and other emerging technologies within products; work with AI engineers to integrate AI capabilities into products; understand SaaS architecture, multitenancy, authentication, RBAC, billing, notifications, and integrations; help identify opportunities to automate internal product-development processes.

- Production &
- Incident Management: Take ownership of critical technical production issues; coordinate developers and DevOps teams during incidents; perform root-cause analysis; ensure production issues are properly documented and resolved; establish preventive measures for recurring problems.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

Within the first 3–6 months, the candidate should be able to: understand the architecture and roadmap of all assigned products; take ownership of technical execution; establish proper development processes; improve engineering quality and delivery predictability; identify and resolve major technical bottlenecks; ensure releases happen on schedule; reduce dependency on founders for day-to-day technical decisions; build a solid and accountable engineering team; maintain clear technical documentation and architecture; proactively identify improvements and risks across products.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
