Role Description The Team Leader role at IndiaMART InterMESH Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad.

The Team

Leader will oversee a team of sales or customer success professionals, set transparent performance goals, and monitor daily activities to ensure targets and service standards are met.

Responsibilities include coaching and mentoring team members, conducting regular reviews, and providing constructive feedback to improve productivity and customer satisfaction. The role involves managing client interactions, resolving escalations, and ensuring timely follow-up on leads generated through the IndiaMART platform.

Leader will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, prepare performance reports, and contribute to process improvements that support business growth.

Qualifications

- Strong people management and leadership abilities, including team coaching, performance monitoring, and conflict resolution.
- Solid sales, business development, or account management skills, preferably in B2B, marketplace, or digital services environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle client escalations and maintain long-term relationships.
- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including experience using data or dashboards to track KPIs and drive decisions.
- Comfort with digital tools, CRM platforms, and basic office software to manage workflows and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Management, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Prior experience leading teams in sales, customer service, or operations, ideally within e-commerce, B2B marketplaces, or technology-driven organizations.
- Ability to work from the Ahmedabad office, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and meet ambitious performance targets.
