Role Description The Team Leader – Collection is a full-time, on-site role based in Ulhasnagar. This position oversees a collection team responsible for managing outstanding accounts, ensuring timely recoveries, and maintaining positive customer relationships. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring collection performance, allocating and reviewing team targets, handling escalated cases, and guiding team members on effective collection strategies in line with company policies and regulatory standards.

The role also involves analyzing portfolio risk, preparing performance reports, coordinating with finance and operations teams, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and recovery rates.

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret collection data, assess risk, and support informed decision-making.
- Candidates should possess solid Debt Collection experience, including portfolio management, negotiation, and resolution of overdue accounts.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service capabilities to handle escalations professionally and maintain respectful, solution-focused communication.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Finance to understand repayment structures, cash flows, and credit-related concepts.
- Candidates should possess proven Team Leadership skills to motivate, mentor, and manage a collection team while achieving performance targets.
- Relevant experience in collections or credit control within financial services or lending environments is highly beneficial.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency in basic office software and collection or CRM tools; familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements is an advantage.
- Diploma or degree in Finance, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience in collections and team management.
