Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Team Leader BIM - MEP to join our team to work and manage various projects, primarily in the mechanical, electrical and plumbing disciplines. The candidate will have a solid background in BIM software, specifically Autodesk Revit and Navisworks and will be responsible for managing projects, talking to clients, managing BIM Designers and modellers and where needed, help in creating accurate and detailed 3D models, schedules and documentation for building services projects This position involves working within the MEP Design Engineering Team at Axium Global Delivery Centre in Mumbai. The team consists of skilled professionals, including BIM designers, mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineers with varied experience.

The Team

Leader will be responsible for managing projects, talking to clients, managing BIM Designers and modellers and where needed, help in creating accurate and detailed 3D models, schedules and documentation for building services projects and will be working directly with leading MEP design consulting firms from the UK, USA, Australia and the UAE on flagship projects.

Responsibilities

- Manage Clients projects and client expectations
- Manage client communication
- Manage team of BIM Designers and modellers
- Guide team in creating accurate and detailed 3D models of mechanical,



electrical and plumbing systems using Autodesk Revit
- Develop QA/QC checklists to ensure quality of work in being performed by the team
- Develop and maintain a high level of proficiency in Revit software, including modelling, massing and detailing
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure models are coordinated and coordinated with other disciplines
- Develop and maintain a library of MEP families and templates
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure accurate coordination of MEP systems with architecture, structural and other services
- Identify and resolve clashes and conflicts in the model
- Work with the team to create accurate and detailed documentation for MEP systems, including plans, sections and elevations

Qualification and Experience Required

- ITI/NCTVT certified HVAC/electrical/plumbing draftsman with relevant experience
- 5+ years of experience as Team Leader - BIM on MEP projects
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Good communication and project management skills
