Role Description This is a full time, on-site Tally Accountant role based in Udaipur.

The Tally

Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions in Tally, maintaining ledgers, reconciling bank statements, and preparing basic financial reports. The role involves managing accounts payable and receivable, handling invoices, supporting GST and other tax-related documentation, and assisting with monthly and annual closing activities.

Accountant will collaborate with project and operations teams to ensure accurate cost tracking, maintain organized financial records, and support internal audits and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in Tally ERP and practical experience in general accounting, including ledger posting and voucher entry.
- Skills in bank reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable management, and invoice handling.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other basic tax and compliance requirements relevant to Indian accounting standards.
- Ability to prepare and interpret basic financial statements, reports, and summaries for management.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to maintain organized financial records.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with finance, project, and operations teams.
- Comfort with MS Excel and other standard office productivity tools for data entry and reporting.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; relevant accounting certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience as an accountant or Tally operator, preferably in infrastructure, engineering, or geomatics services, is beneficial.
