Business Analytics roles are the backbone of our Revenue Optimization Analytics team. The Sr. Business Analyst is a role for experienced candidates with a proven capability to act as the liaison between business stakeholders and the rest of our analytics team. The Sr. Business Analyst is an expert communicator responsible for eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements then translating these into clear, actionable specifications.

Analyst is a data partner responsible for using analysis and modeling to proactively identify trends and gaps in the revenue cycle process. As a technical resource the Sr.

Business

Analyst is proficient in using spreadsheets, SQL, and Python to build scalable and repeatable data solutions. A robust Sr.

Business

Analyst can independently structure, execute, QA test, and present their work. Success in this position requires a blend of revenue cycle domain knowledge, strong analytical and critical thinking skills, excellent communication, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

Process

- Develop and maintain reporting on key performance indicators and partner with the business to identify outliers, gaps, and opportunities to improve
- Become the subject matter expert on an assigned client(s) with deep understanding of their billing system, processes, practice structure, and data
- Adhere to dev ops process including requirement gathering, documentation, work estimation, quality testing, and on time delivery
- Partner with other members of the Revenue Optimization Analytics team to standardize measures,



define best practice, and build enterprise analytics.

People
- Develop high trust collaborative relationships with operational and client success leaders
- Clearly present complex analysis findings, data sets, and methodologies to non-technical stakeholders

Client
- Partner with client success leaders to prepare and present monthly and quarterly business reviews with clients
- Proactively analyze revenue cycle performance KPIs and SLAs identifying opportunities before client driven escalations
- Act as the primary POC and SME for client analysis

Financial
- Maintain analyses supporting budget and revenue forecasting
- Quantify the financial impact to client and IKS on common RCMissues such as denials, payer delays, etc

Qualifications 2-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst

Undergraduate education in applicable business or technical area

Role Prerequisites

At least 2 years of experience as a business analyst or equal experience. Sr.Business Analysts must be able to independently structure, build, QA, and present their work with minimal direction from BA Lead or BA Manager leaders.

Functional Competencies(knowledge and skill required)

- Design, build,



and maintain interactive, high-impact Tableau dashboards and reports aligned with user requirements.

-Implement best practices for visual analytics, data storytelling, and user navigation. -Create calculated fields, parameters, LOD (Level of Detail) expressions, set controls and table calculations in Tableau Desktop.

-Experience in connecting Tableau to diverse data sources like SQL Server, Snowflake, Google BigQuery, Excel. Cleanse, transform and structure data using SQL to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Perform data blending, joins, union operations and establish efficient data models for reporting

-Write, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures to aggregate, cleanse, and shape raw enterprise data specifically for Tableau consumption

-Ability to define, implement, and automate reports that effectively monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as A/R days, denial rates, and net collection percentage.

- Experience in Python for data (e.g. pandas numpy) is as added advantage.
- Experience working in an Agile (kanban or scrum) environment strongly preferred (Jira preferred)
