Position: Systems Engineer

Experience: 8-12 Years

Description: Instrument Automation Engineer

- Design and develop Python-based automation frameworks for laboratory instruments and hardware-validation workflows.
- Automate oscilloscopes, programmable power supplies, power analyzers, digital multimeters, electronic loads, waveform generators and thermal chambers using VISA/SCPI over GPIB, USB or LAN.
- Develop reusable test modules for data acquisition, calibration, characterization, automated sweeps, limit checking, failure handling and pass/fail reporting.
- Integrate instruments and devices using interfaces such as IC/SMBus and support hardware-in-the-loop validation.
- Analyze test data using Python libraries and collaborate with hardware, validation and product teams to improve test coverage, reliability and execution efficiency,
