We are looking for a Senior Automotive Test Automation Engineer to support system-level validation of automotive embedded software for Power Distribution Control Modules (PDCM). You will be responsible for requirement analysis, test design, automation development, execution, and defect management across SYS.4 and SYS.5 activities while working with advanced automotive communication protocols, diagnostics, Functional Safety, and automated test environments in an Agile development environment.
Tasks*
- Understanding system requirements and creating comprehensive test cases, automation scripts, and test documentation for SYS.4 and SYS.5 activities. • Developing, enhancing, and maintaining automated test scripts and CANoe configurations for automotive system validation. • Executing functional, diagnostic, communication, and Functional Safety test cases while generating detailed test reports. • Analyzing test logs, investigating failures, and reporting defects with appropriate evidence and root cause analysis. • Validating PDCM functionalities, Bootloader, PEPS, CAN, LIN, and automotive communication protocols through system-level testing. • Configuring and debugging automated test environments, test benches, and Rest Bus simulations using CANoe and VTest Studio. • Collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to investigate customer-reported issues and support software quality improvements. • Supporting Agile development activities by contributing to test planning, defect management, and continuous process improvement.
Skills*
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive system testing and test automation for embedded software applications. • Strong expertise in Power Distribution Control Module (PDCM) testing, power electronics, and handling high-current electronic loads.
- Hands-on experience with automotive communication protocols including CAN/CAN FD, LIN, ISO15118, Automotive Ethernet, and DoIP. • Proficiency in CANoe, VTest Studio, CAPL, Python, C programming, automated test environments, and Rest Bus simulation. • Experience using automotive test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes and function generators for hardware validation. • Strong knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture, ASPICE processes, Functional Safety (FuSa), Bootloader, Software Download (SWDL), and Lauterbach debugging tools. • Experience with requirements, configuration, and defect management tools such as Polarion, JIRA, Plastic SCM, CM Synergy, or Change Synergy. • Familiarity with Agile (Scrum) methodologies, Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) architecture, and automotive software development lifecycle. • Fluent English (minimum B2 level)
