Role Description The System Administrator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Guwahati. This role involves managing and maintaining servers and hosting infrastructure, including monitoring system performance, applying updates and patches, and ensuring high availability and security of hosted services.

The System

Administrator will handle day-to-day troubleshooting of system and network issues, respond to incidents, and provide technical support to internal teams and customers.

Responsibilities include configuring and managing network devices,



maintaining backups and disaster recovery procedures, and documenting configurations and procedures. The role also requires collaborating with support and development teams to optimize system performance and improve overall service quality.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in System Administration and Information Technology for managing servers, operating systems, and hosting environments.
- Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting and Technical Support to diagnose issues, resolve incidents, and assist users effectively.
- Candidates should possess skills in Network Administration to configure, monitor, and secure network devices and connectivity.
- Relevant experience with Linux/Unix environments, web hosting technologies (e.g., cPanel, DNS, web servers), and security best practices is beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team setting are important.
- Experience with virtualization, cloud platforms, backup solutions, and scripting or automation tools (e.g., Bash, Python) is an advantage.
