System Administrator – Nakoda Infotek

Job Summary:

- Nakoda Infotek is seeking a skilled System Administrator to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot IT infrastructure, including servers, desktop systems, network devices, and security solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Windows environments, Active Directory, networking, and IT support operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers and desktop operating systems.
- Manage and support Active Directory, user accounts, group policies,



and domain permissions.
- Troubleshoot server, desktop, network, internet, and connectivity issues.
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and endpoint security solutions.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of IT infrastructure.
- Resolve issues related to shared folders, printers, network access, and authentication.
- Perform system upgrades, patch management, and security updates.
- Maintain backups and assist with disaster recovery procedures.
- Provide technical support to end users and clients.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Windows Server administration.
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Knowledge of network troubleshooting and security best practices.
- Experience with antivirus and endpoint protection solutions.
- Familiarity with hardware troubleshooting, software installation, and printer/network sharing.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
