St. Wilfred’s P.G. College is looking for a skilled, experienced, and responsible Swimming Coach to train and guide students in swimming while ensuring proper technique, fitness, discipline and safety during all training sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct structured swimming training sessions for students of different skill levels.
- Teach and improve swimming techniques, strokes, breathing and water confidence.
- Develop training plans according to individual abilities and fitness levels.
- Monitor students’ performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
- Ensure strict adherence to pool safety rules and swimming protocols.
- Maintain a safe, disciplined, and positive training setting.
- Identify students with competitive potential and provide advanced training where required.
- Conduct warm-up, conditioning, and fitness exercises related to swimming.
- Monitor the cleanliness and safety of the swimming facility and report any concerns promptly.
- Maintain attendance and basic performance records of students.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow institutional safety procedures.
- Coordinate with the administration regarding training schedules, events, competitions and other activities.
Eligibility & Requirements:
- Relevant certification in Swimming Coaching / Lifeguarding / Water Safety will be preferred.
- Proven experience as a Swimming Coach or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of swimming techniques, training methods and pool safety.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students of different age groups and skill levels.
- Robust sense of responsibility, discipline, and safety awareness.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
Pay: ₹32,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
