Position: Supply Scheduler

Location: Moraiya Plant, Ahmedabad

Role Summary:

The Supply Scheduler will oversee and optimize production schedules to ensure timely manufacturing of Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) products while maintaining cost efficiency, resource allocation, and customer service targets. The role requires a seasoned professional with 8+ years of experience in supply chain, production planning, or scheduling in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Scheduling:

- Develop and manage production schedules for OSD products based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity.
- Ensure alignment of production schedules with demand planning and supply chain goals.
- Identify and address potential scheduling conflicts and delays to minimize production downtime.

1. Capacity Planning & Optimization:

- Analyse production capacity and resource availability to optimize scheduling efficiency.
- Monitor utilization of equipment, manpower, and materials to ensure adherence to production plans.
- Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to improve OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency).

Material Availability & Coordination:

- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to ensure material availability as per production schedules.
- Maintain strong oversight of raw materials, APIs, excipients, and packaging materials inventory levels.

1. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with departments such as Sales, Quality Assurance, Production, and Logistics to align schedules with business objectives.
- Communicate changes to schedules and resolve issues to ensure minimal disruption.

1. Data Analysis & Reporting:

- Prepare and analyse production and supply metrics, including adherence to schedules, delays, and capacity utilization.
- Present reports to senior management highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs).

1. Compliance and Documentation:

- Ensure scheduling activities comply with cGMP, regulatory requirements, and SOPs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of schedules, delays, and changes for audit and review purposes.
