Position Summary

We are looking for a energetic and experienced Manager / Senior Manager – Supply Chain Management (SCM) to lead procurement, strategic sourcing, logistics, inventory planning, vendor development, and supply chain operations across our manufacturing locations. The role requires a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen who can optimize costs, improve supply chain efficiency, and ensure uninterrupted material availability.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Strategic Sourcing

- Lead end-to-end procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, machinery, consumables, and services.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to achieve cost optimization.
- Conduct supplier negotiations, commercial evaluations, and contract management.
- Drive annual procurement savings and improve procurement efficiency.
- Standardize procurement processes across all manufacturing plants.

Supply Chain Planning
- Ensure uninterrupted availability of materials for production.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality, Finance, Projects, and Sales teams.
- Monitor procurement plans against production schedules.
- Support demand planning, forecasting, and budgeting activities.

Inventory Management




- Optimize inventory levels and improve inventory turnover.
- Reduce slow-moving, obsolete, and excess inventory.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through regular audits and reconciliations.
- Improve working capital through efficient inventory planning.

Logistics & Distribution
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics operations.
- Optimize transportation costs and improve delivery performance.
- Coordinate inter-plant material movement and freight planning.
- Develop logistics performance dashboards and KPIs.

Vendor Development
- Develop strategic supplier partnerships.
- Identify and onboard alternate suppliers for critical materials.
- Conduct supplier performance evaluations based on Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Service (QCDS).
- Strengthen vendor relationships and ensure supplier compliance.

Cost Optimization
- Achieve procurement cost reduction targets through strategic sourcing and negotiations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiency.
- Support EBITDA improvement through supply chain optimization initiatives.

ERP & MIS
- Ensure ERP compliance for procurement, inventory, and logistics transactions.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports and procurement dashboards.
- Analyze SCM performance and present reports to management.

Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop procurement,



logistics, and SCM teams.
- Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Conduct performance reviews and capability development initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain, Operations, or Materials Management preferred.
- 6-8 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Management within manufacturing industries.
- Experience in Plastic Packaging, PET Preforms, Caps & Closures, FMCG, Packaging, Polymer, or Process Manufacturing will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, inventory management, commercial operations, vendor development, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics or equivalent).
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
