Job Purpose/ Summary The SUP-CWC-Quality-NDT-Pipes is responsible for carrying out non-destructive testing and quality inspection activities to ensure that coated pipes meet customer specifications, project requirements, and applicable international standards. The role involves performing inspection activities during concrete weight coating operations, identifying defects, maintaining inspection records, and ensuring compliance with quality management systems while supporting secure and efficient plant operations.

SUP-CWC-Quality-NDT-Pipes

Perform NDT inspections on pipes and welded joints in accordance with approved inspection procedures, customer specifications, and applicable international standards.

Conduct Dye Penetrant

Testing (DPT Level II. and evaluate inspection results for acceptance or rejection. Inspect coated pipes during various stages of the Concrete Weight Coating (CWC. process to ensure product quality and compliance. Identify, record, and report surface defects, coating damages, discontinuities, and non-conformities.

Review inspection and test plans (ITPs., project specifications,



and quality procedures before inspection activities. Coordinate with Production, QA/QC, and Operations teams to ensure timely inspections and resolution of quality issues. Verify dimensional parameters, coating integrity, surface preparation, and workmanship as per customer requirements.

Prepare inspection reports, NDT records, non-conformance reports (NCRs., and maintain complete traceability documentation. Support customer representatives and Third-Party Inspection (TPI. agencies during inspections and audits. Ensure inspection equipment is calibrated and used in accordance with approved procedures.

Assist in root cause analysis of quality issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Follow company Quality Management System (QMS., HSE policies, and project-specific quality requirements. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inspection quality, process efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Principal Accountabilities





Perform NDT inspections in accordance with ISO 9712 project specifications and approved procedures to ensure the highest quality standardsbr Ensure all pipes released for dispatch comply with quality and customer acceptance criteria maintaining the integrity of the productbr Detect evaluate and report defects accurately recommending appropriate corrective actions to address any issues identifiedbr Maintain complete and accurate inspection testing and traceability records to support quality assurance and compliance effortsbr Coordinate effectively with Production QAQC and Project teams to achieve inspection schedules and meet project timelinesbr Support customer inspections thirdparty audits and quality compliance activities to ensure transparency and adherence to standardsbr Ensure proper handling calibration and maintenance of NDT equipment and inspection instruments to maintain operational efficiencybr Adhere to all Quality Safety and Environmental procedures during inspection activities to promote a protected working environmentbr Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve inspection processes and reduce quality defectsbr Maintain high standards of professionalism integrity and compliance while ensuring timely completion of inspection activities
