Chemistry Subject Matter Expert (SME) – UniAthena JEE Advanced Preparation Program

UniAthena is developing a comprehensive self-paced learning program for JEE aspirants that combines expert-developed content with personalized assessment tools. Our platform will help students identify and address their knowledge gaps through structured learning modules across all JEE subjects. We're seeking a Chemistry expert to develop high-quality content and assessments while collaborating across our educational team.

As the Senior Chemistry SME, you'll be responsible for creating exceptional Chemistry content and assessments for our JEE preparation program. You'll work closely with our platform development team and potentially coordinate with other subject experts as the program expands. This role combines deep Chemistry expertise with practical knowledge of JEE examination patterns and effective teaching methodologies.

Roles And Responsibilities

- Map JEE Chemistry into a hierarchical knowledge graph, structuring concepts based on prerequisite dependencies and logical progression.
- Support the development of adaptive learning pathways that adjust dynamically based on student proficiency, ensuring personalized content delivery and targeted remediation.
- Prepare course material including lesson content, scripts for video explanations, and progressive assessment question banks with detailed solution explanations, designed for asynchronous course delivery.
- Design multi-dimensional assessments that evaluate conceptual understanding, numerical problem-solving, reaction mechanisms, analytical reasoning,



and application-based learning beyond just correct answers.
- Engineer examination-conditioned learning modules that simulate real JEE constraints, improving time management, accuracy, and adaptability.
- Develop comprehensive question banks across Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Inorganic Chemistry, aligned with JEE Main and JEE Advanced standards.
- Establish a rigorous content framework, ensuring consistency in pedagogy, problem structuring, instructional methodologies, and academic quality.
- Collaborate with the Data Science and Product Development teams to support the development of AI-enabled adaptive learning experiences and personalized assessment models.
- Continuously review JEE examination trends and recommend enhancements to curriculum, assessments, and learning strategies.

Skills And Qualifications Required

- Minimum 5+ years of experience teaching JEE Chemistry or developing JEE preparation content.
- Proven track record of student success in JEE Main and JEE Advanced examinations.
- Strong expertise across Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Inorganic Chemistry.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with the capability to explain concepts using multiple approaches.
- Working knowledge of instructional design tools, content management systems, or digital learning platforms.
- Interested in collaborating with Data Science and Product Development teams to develop scalable, AI-driven learning solutions.
- Strong analytical aptitude and attention to academic quality.
- Passion for exploring, learning, and implementing cutting-edge learning delivery methods to improve student engagement and learning outcomes.
