Job Overview:

The Store Keeper - Packaging Material / Inventory will be responsible for managing the storage, issuance, and tracking of packaging materials and inventory to ensure smooth production operations The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming packaging materials (bottles, tubes, caps, labels, cartons, etc) against purchase orders

Maintain accurate records of inventory levels using ERP/WMS systems

Organize and store materials systematically for easy retrieval and minimal wastage

Issue packaging materials to production teams as per requisition slips

Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy

Monitor stock levels and raise purchase requisitions for replenishment when necessary

Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality standards in the storage area

Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams for timely material availability

Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the supervisor promptly

Maintain a clean and organized warehouse/store area

Qualifications & Skills:

Hard Skills:

Proficiency in inventory management software (ERP/SAP/WMS)





Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control best practices

Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word, email)

Understanding of FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and batch tracking

Soft Skills:

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Attention to detail and accuracy

Good communication and teamwork abilities

Problem-solving mindset

Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment

Key Skills:

Store management, Raw Material, Packaging Material, Inventory, Stock Handling

Education:

Any Bachelor s degree

Preferred Experience:

2-3 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory management, or warehouse operations, preferably in cosmetics, FMCG, or pharmaceutical manufacturing

Experience in handling packaging materials (labels, bottles, tubes, etc) is highly desirable
