Industry: Marble Mining

Experience: 2–5 Years in Stores / Inventory, preferably Mining, Marble, Granite, Stone or Heavy Equipment Industry

Qualification: Graduate / Diploma in Material Management, Stores, Supply Chain, Mechanical or related field

Job Purpose To manage day-to-day store operations at the marble mine, ensuring timely availability, proper storage, accurate inventory records and controlled issue of materials, spare parts and consumables required for uninterrupted mining operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily inward, outward, receipt, storage and issue of materials.
- Receive and verify materials against Purchase Order, Delivery Challan and Invoice.
- Prepare and maintain GRN, Material Receipt, Material Issue Slip, Gate Pass and Stock Registers.
- Maintain accurate stock records in ERP/ Excel.
- Manage inventory of:
- HEMM & machinery spare parts
- Excavator, loader, dumper and drilling machine spares
- Electrical & mechanical items
- Lubricants, oils and consumables
- Cutting tools, wires, drill bits and mining consumables
- Safety materials and general store items
- Issue materials only against authorized Material Requisition / Issue Slip.
- Monitor minimum, maximum and reorder stock levels and inform Purchase/Management about shortages.
- Maintain records of fast-moving, slow-moving and non-moving items.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile physical stock with ERP/records.
- Report stock shortages, excess stock, damages and discrepancies immediately.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Maintenance, Mines,



Accounts and Operations departments.
- Maintain proper records of returnable and non-returnable materials.
- Maintain scrap records and coordinate with management for scrap segregation and disposal.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, safety and security of the store area.
- Maintain proper documentation for inter-site material transfers.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly stock/MIS reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs and internal inventory control procedures.
- Support internal and statutory audits by providing required store records.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of store and inventory management.
- Practical knowledge of mining/HEMM spare parts will be preferred.
- Working knowledge of ERP and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of GRN, MRN, Material Issue, Stock Transfer and Gate Pass documentation.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Valuable record-keeping and documentation ability.
- Ability to work independently at a mine location.
- Honest, disciplined and responsible approach towards inventory control.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Experience in marble/granite mining, stone processing, mining equipment, construction or heavy engineering industry preferred.
- Candidates having experience in handling HEMM spare parts and maintenance stores will be given preference.
- Knowledge of ERP-based inventory management will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
