Role Description The Store Assistant is a full-time, on-site role located in Sriperumbudur. The role involves receiving, checking, and organizing incoming materials and components, ensuring accurate documentation and proper storage.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory records, issuing materials to production as per requirements, and assisting with regular stock counts.

Assistant supports smooth store operations by keeping the storage area clean, labeled, and compliant with safety standards.



The role also includes coordinating with production and procurement teams, handling basic retail-style issuing of goods, and providing courteous support to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with internal teams and suppliers.
- Experience or interest in Retail Sales and store operations, including handling and issuing stock items.
- Solid Organization Skills for inventory management, documentation, and maintaining orderly storage areas.
- Ability to participate in and support Training related to store procedures, safety, and inventory systems.
- Basic knowledge of inventory control practices and use of spreadsheets or store management software.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in recording stock movements and material codes.
- Ability to stand, move, and lift moderate weights as part of daily store activities.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or warehouse/store environments is an advantage.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training in stores, logistics, or supply chain is beneficial.
