Job Title: Steward

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable Steward to support our kitchen and dining operations. The Steward will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of kitchen and dining areas, washing dishes and utensils, and assisting the culinary team as needed to ensure smooth and productive service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, dishwashing, and back-of-house areas in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment using appropriate machines and cleaning tools.
- Sort and prepare soiled ware for cleaning and ensure items are thoroughly cleaned and properly stored.
- Clean floors, countertops, sinks, and kitchen surfaces regularly to maintain high hygiene standards.
- Dispose of waste and recycling in designated areas following sanitation protocols.
- Monitor and report equipment issues, chemical shortages, and any maintenance needs to the supervisor.




- Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and kitchen stock as required.
- Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation and service-related tasks during peak periods or special events.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a steward, dishwasher, kitchen helper, or similar role in hospitality, catering, or food service is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of sanitation, dishwashing equipment, and safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and remain on feet for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail, good teamwork, and communication skills.

Work Requirements:

- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
- Must be able to lift and carry kitchen items and work in a standing position for long durations

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
