Role & responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day store and warehouse operations.

- Handle inward material receiving, inspection coordination, material receipt and documentation.

- Manage mechanical, electrical and other industrial materials.

- Ensure proper material identification, storage, binning and inventory control.

- Manage material issue, receipt, transfer and dispatch activities.

- Maintain accurate stock records and ensure system vs. physical stock reconciliation.

- Conduct physical stock verification, cycle counting and periodic stock audits.

- Follow FIFO/FEFO and proper inventory control practices.

- Coordinate with suppliers regarding material deliveries, shortages, discrepancies and pending materials.

- Coordinate with Purchase, Projects, Production, Engineering and other internal departments for material requirements.

- Ensure timely availability of materials for ongoing projects/manufacturing operations.

- Monitor inventory levels and avoid excess, shortage and obsolete inventory.

- Manage inventory through ERP/SAP or other inventory management systems.

- Prepare and maintain GRN, material receipt,



issue and stock-related documentation.

- Lead and manage a team of approximately 45 store personnel.

- Ensure proper housekeeping, safety and systematic utilization of warehouse/store space.

Preferred candidate profile

- 7+ years of relevant experience in Stores / Warehouse / Inventory Management.

- Experience managing a team of 45 store personnel.

- Hands-on experience handling both mechanical and electrical inventory.

- Strong experience in inward material operations.

- Experience managing a warehouse/store area in an industrial or manufacturing setting.

- Experience handling high-value inventory / multi-crore inventory will be preferred.

- Strong supplier/vendor coordination experience related to deliveries, shortages, material follow-up and discrepancies.

- Good knowledge of stock management, physical verification, cycle counting, FIFO/FEFO and inventory reconciliation.

- Experience working on ERP/SAP or similar inventory management systems.
