About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our growing QA team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in designing and developing automation frameworks, executing automated test suites, and ensuring high-quality software delivery across Web, Mobile, and API applications.

The candidate should be self-driven, technically strong, and capable of mentoring junior QA engineers while collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks.

· Create and execute automated test scripts for Web, Mobile, and API applications.

· Build automation from scratch using industry best practices.

· Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, and design discussions.

· Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, and End-to-End testing.

· Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines.

· Analyze test execution reports and identify root causes of failures.

· Report, track, and verify software defects.

· Collaborate with Development, DevOps, and Product teams to improve software quality.

· Review automation code and ensure coding standards are followed.

· Mentor junior automation engineers and contribute to QA process improvements.

· Evaluate and adopt modern AI-powered QA tools and automation practices.

Required Skills

Automation Testing

· Solid hands-on experience with Playwright (Preferred)





· Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver

· Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks

· Experience with data-driven and keyword-driven frameworks

· Strong understanding of Page Object Model (POM) and design patterns

· Sound exposures to AI tools for Automation like Antigravity, Claude etc.

Programming

· JavaScript / TypeScript (Preferred)

· Java

· C# (Good to Have)

Mobile Automation

· Hands-on experience with Appium

· Android and iOS automation

· Real device and emulator/simulator testing

API Testing

· REST API Automation

· Postman

· Playwright API Testing / Rest Assured

· JSON validation

Performance Testing (Good to Have)

· JMeter

· Playwright Performance APIs

· Load and Stress Testing concepts

CI/CD & DevOps

· Jenkins

· Azure DevOps

Test Management

· TestRail or equivalent Test Management tools

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, MCA, or related field.

· ISTQB Certification is an added advantage.

· Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

· Experience with AI-assisted testing tools.

· Experience with Visual Testing tools.

· Database testing (SQL).

· Cross-browser and cross-platform testing.

· Cloud device platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.

· Security testing knowledge.

· Experience with accessibility testing.
