Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Operations Manager to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of our Cable Car / Ropeway facility at Athirappilly, Thrissur, Kerala.

The position requires a strong operations professional with excellent leadership, safety management and team-handling skills. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, effective, reliable and guest-friendly operations of the Cable Car facility.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee the complete day-to-day operations of the Cable Car / Ropeway facility.
- Ensure the highest standards of passenger safety and operational discipline.
- Supervise station operations, passenger boarding, disembarking and crowd movement.
- Lead, supervise and effectively deploy the Operations and Station teams.
- Coordinate closely with Mechanical, Electrical, Maintenance, Security, Front Office and Guest Relations teams.
- Ensure daily operational inspections and readiness of the Cable Car system and stations.
- Ensure strict implementation of SOPs, safety procedures, emergency procedures and operational checklists.
- Monitor manpower deployment, shift schedules, attendance and staff performance.
- Handle operational emergencies, breakdowns and incidents in coordination with the technical and management teams.
- Ensure proper crowd management, particularly during weekends,



holidays and peak tourist seasons.
- Maintain daily operational reports, incident reports, inspection records and other relevant documentation.
- Ensure excellent guest service and resolve operational complaints and escalations effectively.
- Conduct regular staff briefings, training and safety awareness programmes.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety, statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Identify operational risks and implement preventive and corrective measures.
- Coordinate with management for special events, high-footfall periods and operational requirements.
- Continuously improve operational efficiency, safety standards and guest satisfaction.

Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Automobile or other relevant Engineering discipline.
- Candidates with relevant qualifications and substantial experience in Cable Car/Ropeway or similar operations may also be considered.

Experience Required
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in Operations Management.
- Experience in Cable Car / Ropeway / Amusement Park / Theme Park / Resort / Tourism / Hospitality operations will be preferred.




- Candidates having direct experience in Ropeway/Cable Car operations and safety-critical environments will have an added advantage.
- Proven experience in managing teams and high-footfall customer-facing operations.
