We are looking for an experienced Senior Functional Consultant Odoo to lead the functional implementation of an enterprise-wide Odoo 18 rollout for a multi-branch fast-food chain in Angola.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Functional Consultant Odoo with 5+ years of hands-on implementation experience to lead the functional workstream of a large-scale Odoo Enterprise implementation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the complete implementation lifecyclefrom business requirement gathering and solution design to configuration, user acceptance testing (UAT), training, go-live, and post-implementation support.

This is a client-facing role requiring excellent consulting, communication, and stakeholder management skills. The consultant will work closely with the client, project management team, and India-based development team to deliver scalable, business-focused Odoo solutions while ensuring successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the complete functional implementation lifecycle including requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, configuration, UAT, training, go-live, and hypercare support.
- Provide expert-level support for Odoo functional consultancy services, including implementation and customization of ERP systems using Openerp.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
- Troubleshoot issues related to Odoo implementation and provide technical guidance to resolve problems efficiently.
- Develop reports and dashboards using various reporting tools within the Odoo platform.




- Conduct business workshops with stakeholders to understand operational requirements and recommend suitable Odoo solutions.
- Prepare Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.
- Configure standard Odoo Enterprise modules while identifying gaps requiring custom development.
- Coordinate with the technical development team and validate delivered functionalities against business requirements.
- Plan and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring successful business sign-off.
- Deliver end-user training sessions and prepare user manuals and training documentation.
- Manage phased rollouts across multiple branches while maintaining standardized business processes.
- Handle change requests, project risks, and issue resolution throughout the implementation.
- Support project governance through regular client meetings, project status reports, and stakeholder communication.
- Ensure best practices for multi-company and multi-branch implementations.
- Identify opportunities for additional modules, enhancements, and future business requirements, supporting pre-sales discussions where required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Any Specialization (B.Tech / B.E.)
- Minimum 5years of experience in ERP Implementation & Consulting with a focus on OpenERP (Odoo) development.
- Strong understanding of ERP Functional consulting principles and practices.
- Proven experience in at least two full-cycle Odoo ERP implementations.
- Strong expertise in Odoo versions v14, v15, v16, v17, or v18 Enterprise.
- Robust knowledge of multiple Odoo modules including:
- Point of Sale (POS)
- Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Manufacturing (MRP & BoM)
- Purchase
- Sales
- Accounting
- Human Resources
- Marketing & Loyalty
- Helpdesk
- Experience with multi-company and multi-branch ERP implementations.




- Expertise in business process mapping, requirement analysis, and functional documentation.
- Good understanding of Odoo Studio and the OCA module ecosystem.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and understand SQL-level functional issues.
- Excellent communication, presentation, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Willingness to relocate to Angola for the project duration.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Odoo 18 Enterprise implementations.
- Experience in Restaurant, QSR, Hospitality, or Fast-Food industry projects.
- Knowledge of Angola or Portuguese-speaking African business environments.
- Portuguese language proficiency (Business/Conversational level) is highly preferred.
- Payroll localization experience.
- Odoo Functional Certification.
- Experience in change management and enterprise transformation projects.
- Exposure to POS hardware integrations and IoT devices.
- Pre-sales or solution consulting experience.
