About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Manager – Product Costing Specialist with strong expertise in manufacturing product costing, particularly in Aluminium & Copper Casting / Die-Casting products.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on knowledge of product cost calculation, material consumption, melting losses/burning loss, conversion costs, manufacturing overheads, process costing and cost optimization. The candidate must have a strong understanding of the complete manufacturing process and the ability to independently develop and validate accurate product costing models.

This position will be based at the Corporate Office in Delhi and will work closely with Plant Finance, Manufacturing, Production, Engineering, Purchase, Supply Chain and Business teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage product costing activities for Aluminium, Copper Casting and Die-Casting products.

- Prepare detailed product-wise costing based on manufacturing processes, BOM, material consumption and conversion costs.

- Develop and maintain accurate cost sheets / product costing models for new and existing products.

- Calculate raw material cost, melting cost, conversion cost, labour cost, power cost, consumables, overheads and other manufacturing expenses.

- Strong understanding and calculation of burning loss / melting loss / material yield and scrap recovery.

- Analyze metal input vs. finished product output, process yield and material variance.

- Expertise in costing of Aluminium & Copper Casting / Die-Casting components.

- Evaluate process-wise manufacturing costs including melting, casting, machining,



finishing and other value-added processes.

- Work closely with Plant teams to validate actual production costs versus standard costs.

- Identify cost variances and conduct cost variance analysis with corrective action recommendations.

- Support new product costing / RFQ costing / quotation costing by providing accurate manufacturing cost estimates.

- Analyze the impact of raw material price fluctuations, yield, scrap, rejection, burning loss and process efficiency on product cost.

- Develop standard costing and periodically review standard costs based on actual manufacturing performance.

- Support cost reduction and cost optimization initiatives across manufacturing operations.

- Identify opportunities for reduction in material consumption, process losses, conversion costs and manufacturing overheads.

- Prepare management reports on product profitability, cost movements, material variances and manufacturing cost trends.

- Coordinate with Production, Plant Finance, Purchase, Engineering, Quality and Operations teams for costing inputs and validation.

- Review BOM, routing, material consumption norms and manufacturing assumptions used for costing.

- Ensure costing methodologies are consistent, transparent and aligned with business requirements.

- Provide costing insights to senior management for pricing, margin analysis and business decisions.

Candidate Profile

- Qualification: CMA / ICWA – Mandatory

- Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience

- Candidates must have significant experience in manufacturing costing, preferably from Casting / Metal / Aluminium / Copper / Die-Casting manufacturing.

- Current designation should be Manager or above.

- Strong hands-on experience in product costing is mandatory.

- Candidates from manufacturing industry only will be preferred.

- Should have practical understanding of burning loss, melting loss, yield, scrap and material consumption.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent coordination skills with Plant and Corporate functions.

- Strong MS Excel and MIS/reporting skills.

- Ability to independently manage costing assignments and present findings to senior management.

Important Note

Candidates without hands-on Product Costing experience in a manufacturing setting will not be considered.

Priority will be given to candidates who have directly handled Aluminium/Copper Casting or Die-Casting product costing, including burning loss, material yield, scrap and process-wise manufacturing cost calculations.
