Job Summary

CDET Explosive Industries Pvt Ltd. is looking for a technically proficient and hands-on Sr. IT Executive to manage day-to-day IT infrastructure, user support, computer systems, networking, CCTV surveillance, cybersecurity, and IT hardware across the organization.

The candidate will be responsible for installation, configuration, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, monitoring, and support of IT systems, network infrastructure, security systems, and end-user devices.

Key Responsibilities1. Computer Hardware & Technical Support

- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and other IT peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Perform hardware upgrades, component replacement, OS installation, and system configuration.
- Provide technical support to users for day-to-day IT-related issues.
- Maintain IT hardware inventory and assist with asset management.

2. Operating Systems & Software
- Install, configure, update, and troubleshoot Windows OS, Windows Server, and Linux OS.
- Support installation and configuration of standard business applications and office productivity software.
- Perform operating system upgrades, software updates, driver installations, and system optimization.
- Troubleshoot application, OS, user-profile, and system-performance issues.
- Maintain system documentation and configuration records.

3. Network Management
- Configure, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN connectivity.
- Support managed and unmanaged network switches, routers, access points, and other network equipment.
- Configure and troubleshoot IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and basic network services.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, bandwidth, packet-loss, and performance issues.
- Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, IP address records, and device configurations.

4. CCTV Surveillance – IP & Analogue
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IP and analogue CCTV systems.
- Configure IP cameras, NVR/DVR systems, storage, recording, playback, and remote monitoring.
- Troubleshoot camera, cabling, power, network, NVR/DVR, and recording-related issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance of CCTV infrastructure.
- Manage CCTV networking, IP addressing, PoE switches, and related equipment.
- Assist in CCTV expansion, relocation, and new-site installations.

5. Optical Fiber Networking
- Install, terminate, test, maintain, and troubleshoot Optical Fiber Networking infrastructure.
- Basic knowledge of single-mode and multi-mode fiber, SFP/SFP modules, fiber patch panels, and fiber media converters.
- Identify and troubleshoot fiber-link failures and connectivity issues.




- Coordinate fiber cabling, splicing, testing, and maintenance activities with external vendors when required.

6. Hardware Firewall & VPN
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware firewalls.
- Manage firewall policies, NAT, access rules, web filtering, and basic security configurations.
- Configure and troubleshoot site-to-site and remote-access VPNs.
- Monitor firewall alerts, connectivity, and security events.
- Maintain firewall configuration backups and documentation.
- Assist in firewall firmware/software upgrades and security hardening.

7. Endpoint Security & Cybersecurity
- Deploy, configure, monitor, and maintain endpoint security/antivirus solutions.
- Ensure desktops, laptops, and servers are protected against malware, ransomware, and other security threats.
- Monitor endpoint security alerts and investigate security incidents.
- Maintain endpoint security policies and ensure security software remains updated.
- Implement basic security hardening practices for workstations and servers.
- Assist with user access control, password policies, and IT security awareness.

8. Windows Patch Management
- Manage and monitor Windows security updates, patches, and critical updates for desktops, laptops, and servers.
- Ensure operating systems and supported applications remain up to date.
- Schedule and coordinate patch deployment with minimal disruption to business operations.
- Identify failed or pending updates and troubleshoot patch-related issues.
- Maintain patch compliance records and reports.

9. Data Backup & System Maintenance
- Configure and monitor scheduled data backups for critical systems and user data.
- Verify backup completion and periodically perform restoration tests.
- Maintain backup schedules, retention policies, and backup documentation.
- Perform preventive maintenance of servers, workstations, network equipment, and other IT infrastructure.
- Monitor system health, storage capacity, and hardware performance.

10. User & Access Management
- Create, modify, and disable user accounts based on organizational requirements.
- Manage user access to computers, servers, network resources, applications, and shared folders.
- Implement and enforce password and access-control policies.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees from an IT perspective.
- Maintain appropriate access records and IT documentation.

11. IT Infrastructure Management
- Assist in planning, implementing, and maintaining IT infrastructure projects.




- Monitor AMC/warranty services and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Maintain IT asset, license, warranty, and service records.
- Prepare technical reports and maintain IT documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Networking, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, desktop support, networking, system administration, or a similar IT role.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Windows Server.
- Working knowledge of Linux operating systems.
- Good understanding of LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, and VPN.
- Hands-on knowledge of IP and analogue CCTV systems, NVR/DVR, IP cameras, and PoE networking.
- Knowledge of optical fiber networking and SFP/SFP infrastructure.
- Experience with hardware firewall installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of endpoint security/antivirus solutions and cybersecurity best practices.
- Understanding of Windows patch management and system updates.
- Good hardware troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and respond effectively to IT infrastructure issues.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with enterprise firewalls such as Sophos, Fortinet, SonicWall, or equivalent.
- Experience with enterprise CCTV/NVR systems.
- Knowledge of managed switches, VLANs, SFP/SFP and 10G networking.
- Experience with Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
- Knowledge of virtualization, NAS/storage, and backup solutions.
- Familiarity with IT asset management and documentation.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, Microsoft, Linux, or equivalent will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
