We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in requirement gathering, stakeholder management, and documentation including BRD, FRD, and FRS. This role requires excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to translate business requirements into clear functional specifications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Requirement Gathering & Analysis

Conduct detailed requirement gathering sessions with business stakeholders, SMEs, and end users. Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and system requirements.

Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.

Translate business needs into structured and actionable requirements.

Validate and prioritize requirements based on business objectives.

1. Documentation (BRD, FRD, FRS)

Prepare comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRD) outlining business objectives, scope, assumptions, and constraints. Develop Functional Requirement Documents (FRD) detailing system functionalities and expected behaviors.

Create Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) with transparent acceptance criteria, use cases, and user stories.

Ensure documentation is clear, complete, traceable, and aligned with business goals.

Maintain requirement traceability matrix (RTM).

1. Stakeholder Management

Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to gather and validate requirements.

Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts effectively.

Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress and requirement changes.

Ensure alignment between business objectives and project deliverables.

1. Solution Design & Support

Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate interpretation of requirements.



Participate in solution design discussions and provide business insights.

Support development and QA teams during implementation and testing phases.

Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure requirements are met.

Support change management and impact analysis for requirement changes.

1. Process Improvement

Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and automation. Develop process flow diagrams, wireframes, and models (as needed).

Promote best practices in requirement documentation and stakeholder communication.

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

Strong experience in BRD, FRD, and FRS preparation

Proficiency in requirement gathering and analysis techniques

Experience with requirement traceability matrix (RTM)

Knowledge of SDLC (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid methodologies)

Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, MS Office, or similar

Soft Skills

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Strong stakeholder management abilities

Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Strong documentation and organizational skills

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

3–7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst (depending on level)

Experience working in cross-functional teams

Certification such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA (preferred but not mandatory)

Preferred Experience

Experience in Agile environments (user stories, backlog grooming)

Domain knowledge in relevant industry (Banking, Healthcare, IT, E-commerce, etc.)

Experience in UAT coordination and defect management
