Brief Role : Sr. Analyst - Data & Infrastructure

Join us as a Sr. Analyst as a part of the Commercial & Private Banking Division. This role requires the individual to undertake and deliver analysis, modelling and data- mining services to enable Commercial & Private Banking Division to achieve its financial and sales performance objectives.

The Sr. Analyst would need to use a host of data mining applications and advanced macros to extract data from various sources, develop & deliver on business requirement using advanced data handling and analytical techniques

What the Business does

Global Analytics is broadly divided into four functional domains Research & Analysis, Data Modelling & Simulation and Creative & Design Services thus providing end- to- end research and client solutions. In addition, teams within GA also prepare dashboards, automations, generation of insights to support business performance and strategic discussions through MI, Analytics and Data Foundations for customers across Personal & Business Banking, India Bank and Operations services.

Your Responsibilities

As a Sr. Analyst your key responsibilities will include:

Deliver high- quality, value- add data, tools and / or insights that drive improved decision making, moving the business forward and achieves commercial outcomes

Develop a deep understanding of the business to ensure that data and analysis is embedded in everyday decision- making, and that operational simplification agendas re fully supported using the appropriate technologies.





Increase data coverage and efficiency by using data- management applications (e.g. SAS 9.1, SAS EG 5.1, SAS Visual Analytics, Teradata and PROSPER Oracle Discoverer, Hadoop, BigData, ) and the Commercial & Private Banking data systems (e.g. UKBMIS, Prosper, ICARUS, VSAM)

Continuous focus to ensure data infrastructure remain up- to- date and accurate and are maintained in accordance with agreed deadlines and established business processes.

Effectively communicate progress against work deadlines to ensure stakeholders are always updated

Challenge the business to ensure the analysis completed is relevant, adds value and achieves commercial outcomesSalary: Not Disclosed by Recruiter
