Designation : Software Engineer (SQL Developer)

We are seeking an experienced Oracle SQL Developer with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in database development, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in the banking or securities domain . The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.

Design and implement database schemas, including tables, views, indexes, and performance tuning.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions.

Ensure data integrity, security, and performance of the database systems.

Analyze existing database structures and recommend improvements to enhance performance and scalability.

Support and troubleshoot production issues, providing timely resolutions to ensure minimal impact on business operations.





Develop and maintain technical documentation related to database solutions and processes.

Participate in code reviews, best practices, and maintain coding standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

3-5 years of experiencein Oracle SQL development.

Experience inOracle PL/SQL, including writing complex queries,stored procedures, packages, and functions.

Valuable knowledge ofdatabase design.

Experience in query optimization and resolving performance-related issues.

Hands-on experience indata migrationand working with large datasets.

Ability to work withversion control systemslike Git.

Sound problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in theBankingorSecurities domainis highly preferred.

Exposure toOracle Database 12c or higher.

Familiarity withETL processesand tools.

Knowledge offinancial datastructures and reporting.

Familiarity withagile development methodologies.

Basic understanding ofUnix/Linux shell scripting.

Experience working withOracle APEX(optional but preferred).
