We are looking for a Solution Architect to support the design, implementation, integration, and scaling of VisioGen, a human-verified AI patient engagement platform built for premium ophthalmology practices.

The role will act as a bridge between business teams, product teams, engineering, IT, customer success, and external clinic partners. The Solution Architect will be responsible for understanding clinic workflows, defining technical solution designs, supporting integrations, ensuring secure and scalable implementation, and helping convert business requirements into practical technology solutions.

This role requires a strong understanding of SaaS platforms, .NET-based application ecosystems, Azure Cloud, healthcare workflows, AI-enabled products, API integrations, data security, and enterprise IT governance.

What you'll do

- Design scalable, secure, and clinic-ready solution architectures for VisioGen implementations. Convert business and customer requirements into clear technical solution designs.
- Define end-to-end workflows covering chatbot interface, AI response generation, human review, clinic escalation, reporting, and system integration.
- Work closely with engineering teams to translate evolving requirements into scalable .NET and Azure-based solution designs, participate in technical deep dives, validate implementation approaches, and provide hands-on architectural guidance throughout development and deployment.
- Ensure the platform architecture supports reliability, performance, security, and future scalability.
- Work with US ophthalmology clinics to understand their website, patient inquiry flow, appointment booking process, CRM usage, and operational workflow.
- Identify how VisioGen can be embedded into each clinic’s digital ecosystem.
- Support technical discovery calls with customers, partners, and vendors.
- Prepare implementation documents, integration notes, workflow maps, and technical requirement documents.

- Evaluate and design integrations with clinic websites, CRMs, scheduling tools, marketing platforms, analytics tools, and communication systems.
- Work with APIs, webhooks, data exchange formats, and middleware platforms such as Zapier, HubSpot, or similar systems.
- Coordinate with internal and external development teams to ensure integrations are delivered correctly.
- Troubleshoot integration gaps and recommend practical workarounds where needed.
- Ensure all solution designs follow healthcare data privacy, security, and compliance expectations, including HIPAA-aligned workflows where applicable.
- Work closely with ZEISS IT, CIT, InfoSec, and compliance teams for tool approvals and architecture reviews.
- Support risk assessment, data flow documentation, access control planning, and vendor evaluation.
- Ensure AI workflows are designed with appropriate human-in-the-loop review and governance.
- Partner with product managers to define technical feasibility for new product features.
- Provide architecture inputs for dashboards, analytics, reporting, AI workflows, and clinic-specific customization.
- Identify reusable implementation models that can reduce deployment time across multiple clinics.
- Support creation of internal playbooks, SOPs, technical FAQs, and implementation templates.
- Collaborate with sales, customer success, clinical operations, engineering, product, IT, and external clinic stakeholders.
- Support pre-sales conversations by explaining technical capabilities in simple business language.
- Help sales teams respond to technical questions from clinics, marketing partners, and service providers.
- Act as the technical owner during implementation and post-go-live stabilization.

What we're looking for

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Digital Health, or related field.

- FE – ReactJS; BE – DotNet Core; Azure Cloud
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core / C# and Azure Cloud.
- 10-20 years of experience in solution architecture, technical consulting, SaaS implementation, or healthcare IT.
- Prior experience working with startups, venture-backed products, or fast-moving digital product teams is a plus.
- Experience with tools such as HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, Zapier, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Google Analytics, or similar platforms is an advantage.
- Experience preparing architecture documents for IT, security, compliance, or enterprise approval processes.
- Strong experience in solution architecture, SaaS implementation, or enterprise platform design.
- Hands-on experience with Azure services and cloud architecture, including services such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage/Blob, and related Azure infrastructure.
- Good understanding of APIs, webhooks, system integrations, middleware, and cloud-based platforms.
- Experience with CRM, scheduling, chatbot, marketing automation, or patient engagement platforms is preferred.
- Understanding of AI-enabled workflows, GenAI platforms, and human-in-the-loop review models.
- Ability to create technical diagrams, workflow maps, data flow documents, and integration architecture notes.
- Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure, authentication, access control, monitoring, and data security.
- Experience in healthcare technology, digital health, ophthalmology, patient engagement, or clinical workflow platforms is preferred.
- Understanding of HIPAA, healthcare data privacy, and patient communication workflows will be an advantage.
- Ability to understand clinic operations, patient inquiry journeys, appointment booking workflows, and escalation models.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Solid documentation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
