? TOP MUST-HAVE SKILLS

Candidates must have strong experience in the following areas:

1. On-Premises / Physical Data Center Infrastructure – MANDATORY
2. Data Center Architecture & Solution Design
3. Deep VMware / Server Virtualization Experience – MANDATORY
4. Windows Server
5. Linux
6. End-to-End Data Center Infrastructure
7. Compute / Physical Servers
8. Enterprise Storage
9. Enterprise Backup
10. Data Center Networking
11. Firewalls & Network Security
12. RFP-Based Solution Architecture / Technical Solutioning
13. Technical Bidding / Proposal Development
14. OEM / Technology Vendor Coordination
15. Infrastructure Integration
16. Professional Services / Implementation Experience
17. Managed Services / Day-2 Infrastructure Understanding
18. Government / Critical Infrastructure Data Center Experience – Highly Preferred

Role Overview The Solution Architect will be responsible for understanding complex infrastructure requirements and converting them into complete, practical, scalable, secure, and implementable data-center solutions .

The role requires both

Architectural Breadth + Technical Depth + Hands-on Infrastructure Understanding The candidate should be capable of looking at the entire physical and virtual data-center ecosystem and designing an integrated solution across:

Compute → Virtualization → Operating Systems → Storage → Backup → Network → Firewall → Integration → Operations

Key Responsibilities

- Understand physical server, storage, networking, virtualization, backup, and security requirements.
- Perform infrastructure sizing and capacity planning.
- Design high-availability and redundant infrastructure.
- Ensure interoperability between different infrastructure components.

- Develop secure, scalable, supportable, and operationally viable architectures.
- Understand how proposed infrastructure will actually be deployed and operated within a physical data-center environment.

2. Server & Compute Infrastructure

Strong understanding of

- Physical servers
- Server architecture
- CPU and memory sizing
- Compute capacity planning
- High availability
- Server consolidation
- Infrastructure sizing
