Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and technically skilled Solar Site Engineer to manage and supervise solar PV installation activities at project sites. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that installation, testing, commissioning, and site activities are completed safely, on time, and according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day solar PV installation and construction activities at project sites.
- Coordinate installation of solar modules, mounting structures, inverters, DC/AC cables, earthing, and other electrical equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, SLDs, layouts, and technical specifications.
- Monitor work progress and ensure projects are completed according to the planned schedule.
- Coordinate with contractors, technicians, electricians, vendors, and project managers.
- Inspect the quality of installation work and ensure compliance with approved drawings and standards.
- Perform and supervise testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of solar PV systems.
- Monitor cable laying, termination, crimping, earthing, and electrical connections.
- Prepare daily site reports, progress reports, material requirements, and installation records.
- Check materials received at site and ensure proper storage and utilization.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with the project/engineering team for timely resolution.
- Ensure proper implementation of safety procedures, PPE, and site safety practices.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and other project stakeholders when required.
- Support project handover and preparation of as-built documentation.

Requirements
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics,



Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline.
- Good knowledge of solar PV systems and electrical installation practices.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and Single Line Diagrams (SLDs).
- Basic knowledge of solar modules, inverters, DC/AC systems, earthing, and protection systems.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel and work at project sites.
- Ability to manage site activities and coordinate with multiple teams.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and basic reporting is preferred.
- Valid driving license is an advantage.
