Role Description
Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect with strong expertise in Microsoft .NET, Azure Cloud, enterprise integration, and cloud-native architecture to lead the design and delivery of large-scale digital platforms.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in .NET Core/.NET 8+, C#, Azure, microservices, enterprise integration, DevOps, observability, and architecture governance. The role will involve working closely with business stakeholders, product teams, engineering teams, and senior client leadership to define scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective technology solutions.
Experience in Healthcare, Life Sciences, Clinical Trials, Medical Devices, or HIPAA-regulated environments will be highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
Solution &
- Enterprise Architecture
- Own end-to-end solution architecture for enterprise applications and digital platforms.
- Define architecture roadmaps aligned with business and technology objectives.
- Create and review HLD, LLD, UML diagrams, ADRs, and architecture documentation.
- Lead architecture and design reviews and evaluate emerging technologies.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise standards, security policies, scalability, and NFRs.
Application Architecture
- Architect scalable applications using .NET Core/.NET 8+, ASP.NET Core, C#, REST APIs, Microservices, DDD, and Event-Driven Architecture.
- Define API-first strategies, reusable design patterns, and enterprise coding standards.
- Drive modernization of legacy applications into cloud-native architectures.
Azure Cloud Architecture
- Design secure, highly available, resilient, and cost-optimized Azure solutions.
- Strong experience with AKS, App Services, Azure Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Event Hub, Key Vault, Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Redis, Entra ID, Logic Apps, and Azure data services.
- Define disaster recovery, business continuity, backup, multi-region, and high-availability strategies.
Infrastructure &
- Platform Engineering
- Lead Azure infrastructure architecture and governance.
- Define Infrastructure-as-Code strategies using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates.
- Drive cloud networking, identity, security, compliance, and platform engineering initiatives.
- Partner with DevOps/SRE teams to improve reliability and operational excellence.
DevOps &
- DevSecOps
- Define and govern CI/CD strategies using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Establish branching, release, deployment,
and environment management practices.
- Drive DevSecOps, automated security controls, quality gates, and engineering best practices.
- Champion containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
Observability &
- Reliability
- Define enterprise observability strategies covering monitoring, logging, tracing, and performance.
- Implement solutions using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, Grafana, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry.
- Establish SLIs, SLOs, and Error Budgets.
- Support production reliability, incident management, and root-cause analysis.
Enterprise Integration
- Design integration architectures using REST APIs, Event Streaming, Azure Service Bus, messaging patterns, and third-party integrations.
- Define standards for secure, scalable, and maintainable system integration.
- Architect complex multi-system integration and orchestration platforms.
Stakeholder &
- Technical Leadership
- Collaborate with business leaders, Product Owners, engineering teams, architects, delivery teams, and clients.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.
- Present architecture strategies and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Mentor architects and engineering teams and provide technical direction across projects.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related discipline.
- 12+ years of overall software engineering experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture.
- Proven experience designing and delivering large-scale enterprise applications and digital platforms.
- Strong hands-on Azure cloud architecture and infrastructure experience.
- Experience leading application modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration, security, scalability, and reliability.

The candidate should demonstrate strong leadership in architecture governance, Azure cloud transformation, application modernization, enterprise integration, DevOps/DevSecOps, observability, and reliability engineering across complex digital transformation programs.
