Role Description The Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain production-grade software systems that support The Agentic Loop’s publication, learning programs, and AI-driven tools in a remote, full-time capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing back-end services and APIs, integrating AI models and frameworks, optimizing performance and reliability, and ensuring secure, scalable infrastructure for web applications. The role involves collaborating with content, product, and program teams to translate user needs into technical solutions, as well as participating in code reviews, testing,



and continuous improvement of the engineering stack.

The Software

Engineer will also contribute to technical documentation, support deployment pipelines, and stay current with emerging practices in agentic AI and modern software development.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience in one or more modern languages (e.g., Python, TypeScript, Go, or similar).
- Experience in Back-End Web Development, including building APIs, working with databases, and deploying web services.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and their application in production systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure), containerization, and CI/CD practices.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code, conduct thorough testing, and participate in constructive code reviews.
- Effective communication skills and experience collaborating in remote, cross-functional teams.
- Interest in AI, agentic systems, and developer tools; prior experience integrating AI models is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
