Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Software Engineer at The Agentic Loop.

The Software

Engineer will design, build, and maintain back-end services and APIs that power the publication platform, learning programs, and AI-driven tools. Day-to-day work includes implementing new features, integrating AI models and frameworks, optimizing performance and reliability, and ensuring secure, scalable infrastructure. The role involves collaborating with content, product, and design teams to translate user needs into robust technical solutions, as well as writing clean,



testable code and participating in code reviews.

The Software

Engineer will also contribute to technical documentation and may support experiments and prototypes exploring new agentic AI capabilities.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Experience with Software Development and Programming in one or more modern languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or similar).
- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including building APIs, working with databases, and integrating external services.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and designing modular, maintainable systems.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts or interest in agentic AI, with willingness to learn new tools and frameworks.
- Experience with version control (e.g., Git), automated testing, and CI/CD workflows.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, communicate clearly, and collaborate across functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and security best practices is a plus.
