deployment and operations The skills you'll need To take on this role, you’ll need a background in software engineering, software design, and architecture, and an understanding of how your area of expertise supports our customers. You’ll Also Need At least five years of hands-on experience administering and supporting middleware platforms including Apache HTTP Server, Tomcat, WebSphere, and IIS across production and non-production environments

Proven expertise in Unix and Linux and Windows Server administration, performance tuning, capacity planning, troubleshooting, and ensuring high availability of enterprise applications

Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, with strong scripting capabilities in Python, Bash, and PowerShell.

Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), AWS, Azure, Git, and automated deployment practices to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable solutions

Experience of implementing programming best practice, especially around scalability, automation, virtualisation, optimisation, availability and performance
