Responsibilities

- Hands-on Development: Write high-quality, scalable code while solving complex technical problems.

- Execution Ownership: Take full responsibility for delivering features end-to-end from design to deployment, ensuring timelines and quality.
- Technical Design: Architect and implement systems that are secure, scalable, and resilient.
- Team Leadership: Guide and mentor engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.
- Unblock and Drive: Own the execution of the team by identifying blockers, prioritising work, and ensuring delivery.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product and Business teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
- DevOps and Quality: Oversee CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and monitoring, ensuring uptime and performance.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of emerging technologies, driving technical excellence and innovation in the team.

Requirements

- Experience: 6-8 years in a product-based company, with significant hands-on coding in backend systems.
- Backend Expertise: Strong proficiency in Java/Kotlin with Spring Boot; solid understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
- DevOps Exposure: Familiarity with AWS, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and own team execution, while staying fully hands-on.
- Mindset: Ownership-driven, detail-oriented, and passionate about building scalable products.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
