About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Manual Tester with specialized knowledge in Health Claims processing and hands-on experience with the TCS BaNCS platform. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and compliance of health insurance claim workflows within our client’s systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for validating claim adjudication, settlement processes, policy linkage, and payment workflows to ensure they meet business requirements and regulatory standards.

The role involves collaborating closely with business analysts, domain experts, and development teams to identify, document, and track defects, as well as supporting various testing phases including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT). The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of insurance claim lifecycle management, contributing to the delivery of robust, error-free systems that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline,



preferably with relevant experience in the insurance domain. Prior exposure to health claims processing and familiarity with the TCS BaNCS platform are essential. Candidates should demonstrate a solid understanding of insurance processes, claim lifecycle, and policy administration.

Experience with test management and defect tracking tools is highly desirable. Basic SQL knowledge will be an advantage, enabling effective validation and troubleshooting during testing activities. Strong documentation skills and the ability to analyze complex workflows are crucial for success in this role. Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive end-to-end testing of health insurance claims modules within TCS BaNCS, ensuring all workflows function as intended. Validate claim adjudication, settlement, policy linkage, and payment processes to confirm compliance with business rules and regulatory standards. Develop, review, and execute detailed test cases based on business requirements, ensuring thorough coverage of all scenarios.

Support functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and UAT to verify system integrity and readiness for deployment. Log, track, and verify defects in collaboration with development teams, ensuring timely resolution. Work closely with business analysts and domain experts to understand detailed requirements and translate them into effective test cases.

Maintain meticulous documentation of testing activities, results,



and defect reports. Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory guidelines throughout the testing lifecycle. Participate in defect review meetings, provide feedback for continuous improvement, and assist in preparing testing reports for stakeholders.

The candidate will also contribute to process improvements and support the implementation of best practices in testing methodologies.
