Job Summary

As a Web Development Engineer, you will be part of a collaborative engineering team responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining modern web applications. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver scalable, reliable, and user-friendly experiences across FOXs digital platforms. You will contribute to the development of high-quality software, participate in technical discussions, and help ensure our applications meet both functional and non-functional requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and Maintain Applications

- Build and maintain web applications using modern web technologies such as React, Node.js, TypeScript, Next.js, and related frameworks.
- Implement new features and enhancements based on product and business requirements.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

Collaboration

- Partner with UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver cohesive user experiences.
- Participate in design discussions, sprint planning, and technical reviews.

Code Quality

- Participate in peer code reviews and incorporate feedback to maintain engineering standards.
- Follow established coding guidelines, development processes, and best practices.

Performance and Reliability

- Help identify and resolve performance issues, bugs, and usability concerns.
- Contribute to application stability, scalability, and maintainability.

Testing and Debugging

- Develop and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Troubleshoot production issues and support ongoing application improvements.





Security and Documentation

- Follow security best practices to protect user data and application integrity.
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.

What Youll Need

Experience

- 2-4 years of professional experience building web applications.

Technical Skills

- Experience with up-to-date frontend frameworks such as React.
- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web development practices.
- Familiarity with backend technologies such as Node.js and RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of responsive design and modern web standards.

Problem Solving

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving requirements.

Version Control

- Experience working with Git and collaborative development workflows.

Development Practices

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD processes.

Communication

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Education

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
