Role Description As a Software Developer Intern at Yalu, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of backend services that power the marketplace and travel booking features. You will write clean, efficient code, implement new features, fix bugs, and assist in optimizing system performance. Daily tasks include collaborating with senior developers, participating in code reviews, testing and debugging applications, and documenting technical work.

This is an internship role that is on-site, based in Hyderabad,



where you will work closely with cross-functional teams to support real-world product enhancements and learn industry best practices.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and basic software engineering principles.
- Skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience using at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar).
- Knowledge of Back-End Web Development and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) for building and maintaining server-side applications.
- Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and version control systems such as Git.
- Ability to analyze problems, debug issues, and propose practical technical solutions.
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn from feedback in a collaborative team environment.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Interest in marketplaces, travel technology, and scalable web applications is an advantage.
