At Barclays, we dont just adapt to the future – we create it. As a Developer the following are the responsibilities for the role. He / She is responsible to deploy and maintain the vendor application called

Fircosoft for payments screening, in sanctions space.

The tech stack should include Linux, Oracle SQL, Phyton, Redis and Kafka / MQ, occasional development is also required to cater to the changes raised by upstream payments systems.

Development of Devops pipelines for deployments of the vendor application using GITLAB. Coordinating with the RTB team to deploy application into preprod and prod environments. Involve in infra build discussions with the architects and designers when there is a need to build new infra.

To be successful Developer, you should have experience with:

- A valuable understanding of risk management and control design and operation





The ability to continuously drive operational efficiency in production processes, meet quality standards and comply with all relevant policies, standards, procedures and regulations
- Good organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail

Proven ability to communicate effectively and build relationships across a wide stakeholder base.
- A proactive and professional approach to problem solving and decision making
- Bachelor’s’ Degree
