- Identify areas for optimization and cost-saving potential by conducting routine audits and assessments of software usage and licensing compliance.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Flexera solutions, advising internal stakeholders on software license management and optimization techniques and provide assistance.
- Manage contacts with vendors, bargain for software licenses, and enhance terms and conditions of contracts to
- Create dashboards and reports with Flexera’s reporting tools to monitor KPIs, calculate savings, and show the ROI of software asset management programs.
- Keep up with best practices, legal requirements, and industry trends in software asset management while always looking for ways to optimize and improve workflow.

reporting problems and facilitating the resolution of technical difficulties or system problems.
- Participate in the creation and implementation of the company’s comprehensive IT asset management strategy, coordinating SAM programs with more general business goals and priorities.

Critical Skills To Have

- At least four years of experience in similar fields, such as IT procurement or software asset management, with a focus on using Flexera products.
- Comprehensive knowledge of contract negotiations, software licensing methods, and compliance standards.
- Expertise in evaluating and interpreting license entitlements, compliance reports, and software usage data.
- Outstanding negotiating, stakeholder management, and communication abilities.
- The capacity to prioritize work, operate autonomously, and oversee several projects at once.
- It is preferred to have certifications in Flexera (such as Flexera Certified Administrator) and software asset management (CSAM, ISO/IEC 19770).
- It’s advantageous to have knowledge of other software asset management platforms, such as ServiceNow and Snow Software.
