We are looking for a Social Media Strategist who can turn our creative work into a strong digital presence, build communities, and drive measurable growth across social platforms.

Role Overview

As a Social Media Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and executing Smart Magic Productions’ social media strategy across platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.

The ideal candidate is creative, digitally savvy, trend-aware, and data-driven, with a strong understanding of content, storytelling, audience behaviour, and social media growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with company and brand objectives.
- Create monthly/weekly social media content calendars and campaigns.
- Identify trending formats, sounds, topics, hashtags, and platform opportunities.
- Work closely with the creative, production, and design teams to develop engaging content.
- Develop ideas for Reels, Stories, carousels, posts, short-form videos, YouTube content, and campaigns.
- Write compelling captions, hooks, CTAs, and social copy.
- Manage day-to-day publishing and ensure consistent brand communication.
- Build and grow Smart Magic Productions’ online community and audience.
- Monitor social media performance and prepare regular reports.
- Track key metrics such as reach, engagement, follower growth, views, leads, and conversions.
- Use analytics and insights to continuously improve content and strategy.
- Research competitors, creators, brands, and emerging social media trends.




- Coordinate with influencers, creators, and relevant digital partners when required.
- Support social media campaigns around productions, events, launches, and special projects.
- Stay updated with changes in algorithms, platform features, and digital marketing trends.

Requirements

- 2–5 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, content strategy, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and short-form video platforms.
- Excellent knowledge of current social media trends and content formats.
- Strong copywriting and communication skills.
- Ability to develop original content ideas and compelling campaign concepts.
- Comfortable working with analytics and using data to make strategic decisions.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, creative production environment.
- Experience in media, entertainment, production, events, advertising, or creative agencies is a plus.
