Role Description The Social Media Marketing Intern will support SCHMIEDE YOUR WAY’s online presence by assisting with the planning, creation, and scheduling of content across social media platforms. Day-to-day tasks include brainstorming and producing engaging posts, short-form videos, and stories, monitoring comments and messages, and helping manage community interactions. The intern will assist in basic performance tracking, reporting, and experimentation with new ideas to increase reach and engagement among athletes and fitness enthusiasts.

This is an on-site internship role based in Mangaluru, offering hands-on experience in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment and close collaboration with the founding and marketing teams. Qualifications

Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing, with a basic understanding of audience growth and engagement strategies.

Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Content Creation and Marketing, including the ability to create visually appealing and brand-aligned posts.





Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, with the ability to write explicit, concise copy and interact professionally with online communities.

Basic familiarity with platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and other relevant social channels;

experience with Reels/short-form video creation is beneficial.

Interest in fitness, sports, or performance nutrition is highly advantageous, along with a willingness to learn and experiment with new ideas.

Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory.

Ability to work on-site in Mangaluru, manage time effectively, and collaborate with a small, high-energy team We’re looking for someone who understands social media beyond just posting - someone who can look at a page, understand what’s working, spot what isn’t, and come up with ideas to make it better. What you’ll be doing:

- Creating and managing content calendars
- Scheduling and publishing content across social platforms
- Tracking content performance and identifying what isn’t working
- Trend mapping and finding relevant content opportunities
- Brainstorming concepts for posts, Reels and short-form content
- Shooting and editing social media content
- Keeping up with platform trends, formats and changes Bonus: If you know how to shoot using professional cameras/equipment, that’s a big plus.
