Role Description The Social Media Executive (Video Editing) is a full time, on-site role based in the Greater Kolkata Area. This role is responsible for planning, creating, and publishing engaging video content for social media platforms aligned with brand objectives and campaign goals. Day-to-day tasks include editing raw footage, applying color grading, adding motion graphics and text overlays, and optimizing videos for different formats such as reels, shorts, and stories.

Executive will collaborate with marketing and design teams to develop content calendars, repurpose existing assets,



and maintain consistent visual branding across channels. The role also involves monitoring performance metrics, suggesting content improvements, and staying updated on social media and video trends.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading and Motion Graphics.
- Candidates should possess skills in Graphics and basic visual design for social media content.
- Proficiency with industry-standard video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics software (e.g., After Effects) is preferred.
- Understanding of major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok) and best practices for short-form video content.
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, attention to detail, and ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take feedback and adapt to brand guidelines.
- Relevant education or certification in media, design, communication, or a related field is beneficial; prior experience in a similar role is an advantage.
