Role: SMT Operator

Role Description:

The SMT Operator is responsible for opera ti ng and monitoring Surface Mount Technology (SMT)

machines to ensure smooth produc ti on, maintain quality standards, and achieve daily produc ti on targets.

Key Responsibili ti es:

 Operate SMT produc ti on line machines such as Solder Paste Printer (DEK), Pick & Place

Machine (FUJI/Panasonic), SPI, AOI, and Reflow Oven.

 Perform machine start-up, shutdown, and basic opera ti onal checks.

 Load PCB magazines, feeders, reels, and electronic components as per produc ti on requirements.

 Verify component part numbers, feeder loca ti ons, and PCB models before produc ti on.

 Monitor machine performance and report any alarms or abnormali ti es to the Process

Engineer or Supervisor.

 Perform feeder replacement and component replenishment during produc ti on.

 Follow produc ti on plans and achieve daily output targets.





 Ensure proper handling of solder paste and electronic components.

 Maintain cleanliness of machines and the work area following 5S standards.

 Record produc ti on data, machine downtime, and rejec ti on details.

 Follow SOPs, work instruc ti ons, and all safety guidelines.

 Assist the maintenance team during preven ti ve maintenance ac ti vi ti es.

Requirements:

 Knowledge of SMT manufacturing processes.

 Ability to operate produc ti on machines safely.

 Understanding of electronic components and PCB handling.

 Troubleshoo ti ng and problem-solving skills.

 Ability to work in shifts.

 Positive teamwork and communica ti on skills.

Qualifica ti ons:

 Bachelor's degree in engineering, Electronics, or a related field

 Experience in the electronic surveillance or related industry is a plus

Experience: 2–5 Years (Electronics Manufacturing)
