Role Description The Site Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities at construction or project sites. This role involves coordinating and monitoring site operations, supervising workers and subcontractors, and ensuring that work is completed according to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Supervisor will maintain daily site logs, track material usage, and report progress to project managers or senior leadership. The role includes inspecting work for compliance, resolving on-site issues, and communicating effectively with clients,



engineers, and vendors.

Supervisor will also help plan work schedules, manage basic documentation, and support adherence to local regulatory and company policies.

Qualifications

- Experience supervising construction or project sites, with strong skills in coordination, scheduling, and monitoring daily operations.
- Knowledge of building methods, materials, and safety practices, including compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and technical documents, and ensure work aligns with specifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with workers, subcontractors, clients, and management.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address in office challenges and maintain project timelines.
- Basic proficiency with documentation, reporting, and use of common office or project management tools.
- Prior experience in a supervisory role in construction or related fields; local Chennai project experience is an advantage.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
